How does usage-based pricing work?

Your storage is billed in 100GB steps and you can resize at any time. Prepaid datastores start at 200GB; subscription datastores start at 500GB.

  • If you start the month with 500GB (€4.25) on subscription and resize to 1TB halfway through, your bill will be €6.38, prorated by the hour.
  • If you only use the free tier (up to 100GB), your storage stays free forever.

On subscription datastores, yes — resize instantly from your dashboard and pay only for what you used, calculated per hour. Prepaid datastores have a fixed size for the billing period.
How do I know what I'll be charged?
You only ever pay for the largest datastore size you used per hour, billed at the monthly rate for each 100GB increment, prorated per hour.
Is there a maximum?
Yes, you can use up to 20TB per account. If you need more, please reach out to support.

There are two billing types. Subscription: billed hourly based on your configured datastore size, 500 GB minimum (€4.25/month). Prepaid: pay upfront for a fixed period of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, 200 GB minimum (€1.70/month). All prices are net, excluding VAT.

Subscription billing charges your payment method automatically each month based on usage. Prepaid billing deducts the full period cost upfront from your account balance. Prepaid datastores have a lower minimum (200 GB vs 500 GB) and a fixed size for the billing period — no autoscaling. Subscription datastores support autoscaling and hourly prorating.

Yes, instantly from your dashboard. You can scale up or down at any time. Your next bill only covers what you actually used, calculated per hour.

The free tier gives you 100GB of storage forever with full access to all features including email notifications, logs, prune jobs, and 5 VPN connections. No credit card required. Free tier availability depends on current capacity.

Geo-replication costs €4/TB per replica per month. You can add up to 3 replicas in separate geographic regions. The price is calculated based on your datastore size and prorated hourly, just like base storage.

We accept credit cards, SEPA direct debit, and prepaid balance top-ups. Prepaid top-ups come with a 10% bonus on every charge.

No. There are no long-term contracts or commitments. You pay month-to-month based on actual usage and can cancel at any time.

All listed prices are net (excluding taxes). VAT is added based on your country and customer type. EU businesses with a valid VAT ID benefit from reverse charge. Non-EU customers are not charged VAT.
