The people behind your backups

A small team that runs the racks in Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf, the control plane on top of them, and the support inbox.

No outsourced support desk, no ticket routed through three vendors before anyone reads it. The person who answers is the person who can fix it.

How We Work

Backup infrastructure should be boring

We ship slowly and on purpose. A storage platform earns trust by doing the same thing every night for years, not by adding features nobody asked for.

Short path to a human

Support goes straight to the people who run the platform. No tiers, no scripted first-line replies, no handover before anyone has looked at your datastore.

Our hardware, our responsibility

We buy, rack, and operate the servers ourselves in certified German datacenters. When a disk fails at 3am it is our pager, not a cloud provider's status page.

Honest about the limits

We say what the platform does not do. Proxmox Backup Server has no native immutability flag, and we explain how we solve that with architecture instead of pretending otherwise.

Who answers when something breaks

Support requests land with the same people who deploy the storage nodes and write the control plane. That means a question about a stuck sync job gets looked at by someone who can open a shell on the node in question.

For anything urgent, email is the fastest route. The documentation covers the setup guides and the common Proxmox Backup Server, Borg, and SFTP questions.

Partners We Work With

The servers are ours. The buildings, power, and remote hands come from partners we have worked with for years.

NerdsCave Hosting

Our rack partner in Frankfurt (Interwerk datacenter) and Düsseldorf (Netmountains datacenter in Velbert). Remote hands, cross connects, and the physical side of FRA1 and DUS1.

NMMN

Our rack partner at AtlasEdge HAM002 in Hamburg, one of the three locations that make geo-replication inside Germany possible.
